This stainless finish upgrade is applicable only to the Drum Scale ramp component and must be purchased in addition to the base ramp. Offered in passivation or passivation with electropolishing to enhance rust protection, sanitation and operational longevity in wet, chemical or hygienic environments.

The Drum Scale ramp can be upgraded with premium stainless surface treatments designed for improved resistance to corrosive elements and frequent cleaning.

Passivation cleans the stainless steel surface by removing residual iron and contaminants, thereby restoring the corrosion-resistant oxide layer and enhancing durability.

Passivation with Electropolishing follows a chemical process, accompanied by an electrochemical polish that smooths the surface to a near-mirror finish, reducing microbial adhesion and facilitating sanitization.
These upgrade options are ideal for setups in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical or industrial facilities where ramps may be exposed to moisture, caustics or require routine heavy-duty washdowns.
